Know why your shop changed. Then know if your fix worked.

StoreVitals reads your own Etsy ledger and Google Analytics, not market estimates. It finds what caused the change in your revenue, tells you what to do, then measures whether the fix actually worked. That last part is the bit nobody else does.

Built on your Etsy ledger and Google Analytics. No industry benchmarks, no invented numbers, read-only access to your shop, always.

The Today screen: a headline finding that the shop's top earner is declining 53% with about $58 a day at risk, revenue and net profit per day, revenue at risk, and the start of the You did this card.
The Today screen on a phone: the headline finding, revenue and profit per day, and revenue at risk.

How it works

Three things, in the order you'll use them.

Etsy tells you what moved. StoreVitals tells you why, tells you what to do, and then, the part that matters, tells you whether it worked.

Diagnosis: why revenue moved, not just that it did

One headline finding, with a dollar figure and the fix.

Revenue is decomposed into price, volume and mix per listing so the parts add up to the change exactly. Detectors then look for the cause (a top earner fading, stale listings, a price that met resistance, a rating that dropped, ads that quietly stopped) and rank what's costing you most.

  • Every finding carries its evidence and whether the dollar impact is measured or modelled.
  • Findings that rest on too few orders say so instead of guessing.
  • Turns into a ranked list of actions: quick levers this week, search-dependent ones over 15 days.
The Diagnosis screen: revenue is down 15% versus baseline, the biggest driver is conversion; a 'What moved' bar chart by driver and the start of a revenue bridge chart.

Measured impact: did the change you made actually help?

Every edit you make gets a verdict. Helped, Hurt, or Too early to tell.

StoreVitals records each change to your listings, whether price, title, tags, photos or description, and measures what happened next against the rest of your shop, so a shop-wide slow week doesn't get blamed on your edit. Losses are reported as plainly as wins.

  • A win on one listing becomes a suggestion for the ones that don't have it yet, marked as upside, not promised.
  • A loss becomes a revert action, at the same prominence as any win.
  • No one else in the Etsy tooling space closes this loop.
The Changes screen: per-listing timelines of edits, each with a verdict badge: Too early to tell, No clear effect, Hurt, Helped.

Ask your shop: answers grounded in your real numbers

Not "AI insights". A question, answered from your own ledger.

Ask "which listing is losing me money?" and the assistant can only read the same figures you see on screen. It picks from a fixed set of lookups, cites which ones it used, and never invents a number. When the data can't answer, it says so.

  • Every answer lists its sources.
  • It cannot query raw data or make up a figure. That is by construction, not by prompt.
The Ask panel: an answer naming the weakest listing by revenue, orders and momentum, noting what the data can't confirm without Google Analytics, and listing its sources.

Proof

One real finding, start to finish.

From our sample shop, a synthetic shop we build against, not a customer's. The numbers below are exactly what the product shows on it.

What Etsy shows

Orders fell

Orders on Foggy Forest Landscape Canvas dropped sharply through July. Shop Stats shows the drop. It doesn't say why.

What StoreVitals found

$77.28 → $88.87

A price change on 12 July. Measured against the rest of the shop, which was also softer that month, the listing's orders fell 30% more than the shop did.

Hurt · control-adjusted

The fix

Revert the price

A "Your price change cost you" action, at the same prominence as any win. Marked done, it's tracked as a new change with its own verdict.

Closing the loop

+25% orders

Same shop: a title rewrite on Bold Color Block Abstract lifted orders 25% versus the rest of the shop. 21 other listings don't have it yet. That's the next action.

Helped · measured

"Control-adjusted" means the listing's change is compared with what the rest of the shop did over the same window, so a shop-wide dip isn't blamed on one edit. Verdicts on too little data say Too early to tell; they are never dropped.

Where it fits

Not a replacement for what you have. The missing piece.

Etsy Shop Stats

Shows what moved (visits, orders, revenue), never why, and nothing about what you changed.

StoreVitals starts where Stats stops: the cause, the fix, and whether the fix worked.

Keyword & market tools

Market data: search volume, competitor listings, trends across Etsy.

StoreVitals is about your shop only. Your ledger, your traffic, your edits. No market data.

Profit trackers

Money only: fees, costs, margin. No demand side, so a margin problem and a traffic problem look the same.

StoreVitals does true profit too, real fees from the payment ledger and your cost of goods, and joins it to traffic and conversion.

Our rules

Honest by default.

A diagnostic instrument is only useful if you can trust what it says. These are the rules the product is built on, not a tone of voice.

Your numbers, not market data

Orders and money come from your Etsy payment ledger. Traffic and engagement come from your Google Analytics. Nothing is extrapolated from "sellers like you". Where a figure is modelled rather than measured, it is labelled.

Uncertainty is shown, not hidden

A rate that rests on a few orders shows its range. A finding that's modelled rather than measured is labelled. "Too early to tell" is a real answer.

Read-only, and no review text stored

StoreVitals never writes to your shop, and never publishes anything for you. Reviews are kept as a rating and a date. A buyer's words are never stored.

Do you have Google Analytics connected to your Etsy shop?

Either answer is fine. Diagnosis and change tracking work from your Etsy ledger alone. GA adds the traffic side.
